Cheese Chase — Privacy Policy 🧀🐭

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Cheese Chase is a game made for kids and families, and we built it to collect as little as possible. There's no sign-in, no account, and no name or email — your progress lives on your device. This page explains the details.

The short version

What we collect

Almost nothing. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, birthdays, location, photos, microphone audio, or contacts, and the game has no analytics and no crash reporting. The only thing the game itself sends anywhere is an optional high score — a distance and a random, game-made mouse nickname — as described under "Top Mice leaderboard" below.

Optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob)

Cheese Chase may show optional "watch a video for a reward" ads that a player chooses to watch — for example, to double the cheese from a run. These come from Google AdMob. There are no forced ads, no ads during play, and no banners.

Because Cheese Chase is directed to children, ads are configured to be kid-safe:

Google's handling of this information is described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Top Mice leaderboard

Cheese Chase has an optional global high-score board called Top Mice. When a player beats their own best distance, the game sends that distance and a random, game-made mouse nickname (for example, "Zippy Mouse") to the board so players can chase each other's scores.

There is no account and no name entry — the nickname is invented by the game, not typed by the child, and it isn't linked to any personal information, real identity, or advertising profile. Only a made-up name and a number are stored. The board runs on Google Firebase; Google's handling of the technical request is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.

Cheese Chase offers optional in-app purchases (cheese packs). Purchases are handled entirely by the Google Play Store — we never see or receive your name, address, or payment-card details, only a confirmation from the store that a purchase was made. Please use your device's purchase password / controls to keep purchases behind a grown-up.

Children's privacy

Cheese Chase is intended for children and follows Google Play's Families policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, we do not show behaviorally-targeted (personalized) ads, and we do not sell or share personal information. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, please contact us and we'll address it.

Keeping and deleting your data

Because the game keeps your progress only on your device, you can delete all of it at any time by uninstalling the game or clearing the app's data in your device settings.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and post the new version at this address.
